Today I am going to talk about an amazing app launched on the Play Store just a few days ago that bring the undo-redo and find-replace function to your Android. The name of the app is Inputting+. So let’s go ahead and install it from the Play Store. Note: The app is supported on Android v5.0 Lollipop and above, and users on Kitkat and lower versions might not even see the app on the Play Store. After you install and initialize the app, it will ask you to grant it accessibility option in your Android’s Settings menu. This permission is necessary for the tool to read text you enter in other apps.
Using the Undo and Redo Functions.
Once you have enabled the settings, it’s time to test the product. Open up messaging or any app where you can input text. As soon as you see the the keyboard, you will see a small bubble on the right edge. That’s your Inputting+ bubble which will assist you. The app will record every change you made to the text field and whenever you feel like there’s a need to undo something, just tap on the Inputting+ bubble and you will get the undo and redo button. Use the respective button to revert back and accept the changes. You also get the find and replace functionality from the app. Suppose you are working on a document and need to replace a word or a phrase with a different text. The app does it for you in a single tap, nice and easy. Is it a Keylogger? It sure is, but the app does not use any network communications, so the logged data always remains on your device. But, keep a note on future updates.
Additional Features
There’s an additional feature in the app which can manage your clipboard history for you. You will have to install an additional app from the Play Store called Clip Stack. It’s completely free and even without ads. After you activate the extension, you will be able to see everything that you have copied in the Android’s clipboard and would be able to select the text you would like to paste. Note: The Copy/Paste functionality is controlled by the secondary app and it just works as an extension for Inputting+ app. I am sure, the app has already impressed you enough. But with only $0.99, you get the additional feature that will make the app record anything and everything you type. So let’s say the word document you were working on crashed or gave a forced close notification, the app will be able to retrieve everything you have worked on. The Inputting+ size and transparency can be control from the app settings so that you can configure it depending on your needs. I have it small with 50% transparency. Another good thing about the app is that you only see the control orb when you are inputting a text and not throughout.
